White Water Rescue Technician

To complete this course, you should already be a confident swimmer. Once you have completed a white water rescue technician course you will be qualified in Rescue 3 WRT and will be the owner of a certificate which is valid for 3 years.
White water experience is recommended for this particular course. Over the space of 3 days, you will learn new skills in a classroom and on water, that will take you to the next level of water rescue.
This course will cover a number of modules including Hydrology and Water Dynamics, Swimming in Moving Water, Contact and In-Water Rescues and Crossing techniques. This is just a selection of modules which will be covered during the 3-day course.
